Brief about the event
The Riyadh Comedy Festival is one of the most prominent entertainment events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of the Riyadh Season 2025. Held in the Boulevard City area, it brings together a selection of the brightest comedy stars from around the world. The festival is organized under the supervision of the General Entertainment Authority, headed by Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, who announced it as part of the season’s plan to be one of the largest and most famous comedy gatherings in the world.
The Riyadh Comedy Festival runs from September 26 to October 9, 2025, attracting a wide audience of comedy fans from within and outside the Kingdom. More than 50 international and Arab comedians are participating in the festival, presenting a variety of shows, including stand-up comedy, satirical plays, and live interactive performances.
The festival is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiatives to boost the entertainment industry and make Riyadh a regional hub for global arts and cultural events.
Mentor's role in implementing the Riyadh Comedy Festival
Mentor Ltd played a pivotal role in the Riyadh Comedy Festival’s execution, designing and executing the entire opening parade, along with on-site construction and logistics. This included:
- Construction of gate structures using metal scaffolding and subframes to ensure stability and precision.
- Installation of MDF wooden panels and cladding the facades with foam designed in an old brick style.
- Implementation of decorative wooden elements and addition of interior and exterior lighting as per the plans.
- Fabrication and installation of humorous decorative sculptures reflecting the overall comedic atmosphere of the event.
- Redesign and execution of the main gate facade to align with the project’s new theme.
- Installation of the required metal scaffolding to support structural and artistic elements.
- Creation of an interactive tunnel that embodies joy, color, and laughter, featuring painted artistic sculptures.
- Installation of flex and illuminated panels to highlight the visual identity.
- Placement of infinity mirrors according to the architectural plans.
Execution of electrical works and technical connections for the festival.
